I am Whitney and I am passionate about hair.

I threw away 6 years of college level science classes and 7 years in Healthcare in the pursuit of finding joy in my work. Although my love for hair evolved when I took up photography years ago and it has only grown from there.

About a year and a half into my career, I won a hair coloring contest by an industry leader, Guy Tang.  Guy flew me down to San Francisco to have a privately taught hands on class by him personally. This was an experience I will never forget. Although he taught me amazing new techniques, he also taught me to never stop educating yourself in this industry.

Within the last couple of years, I have kept the ball rolling by attending a week-long hair boot-camp at West Hollywood’s famous 901 Salon. 901 Salon is the Salon in LA where celebrities like Sarah Hyland and Julianne Hough go for their beachy lived in hair. To follow that up I also spent a weekend learning along side another industry leader, Ashlee Norman.

The accountability I feel towards my clients is what drives me to learn and create new techniques.
